Hi, I'm Fiona Hope. Over the last three decades, I've provided administrative support for all kinds of busy people, from Board Directors right the way through to "Partners" working in co-owned businesses. My work has helped them to prioritise their day, taking the stress and strain away from routine tasks.
I began my career as a Branch Manager working for Marks and Spencer PLC, managing large teams of people to deliver excellent customer service. In 2003 I joined the John Lewis Partnership. Here, I supported fellow co-owners, as an HR professional. I also worked alongside Board Directors, to ensure that they understood what working in a democratic environment meant and that they lived up to the principles of the business. Since setting myself up as a Freelance Writer I've applied my skills to both private and business activities across a wide range of sectors, including web development, advertising, investigative institutes, and travel.
Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology (achieved whilst working full-time, graduating in 2014), Writers Bureau Professional Qualification in Proofreading and Copy Editor, CMI Level 7 Award in Professional Consulting and CIPD Qualification in Conflict Resolution and Mediation

I work remotely from my office, a canal boat called the Yorkshire Rose. I'm on the Grand Union Canal if you're passing!
Alternatively, I can work locally on site, depending on my clients' needs.
